Description
The year is 2347. Earth is a museum piece, a verdant, curated memory flickering on holographic billboards for off-world tourists. You, however, are not a tourist. You are a Remnant.
Born on a dying Earth, you were selected for the Exodus project – a desperate gamble to seed habitable planets with cryogenically frozen colonists. But something went wrong. Catastrophically wrong. Your ship, the *Hopeful Dawn*, never reached its destination. Instead, it became a ghost ship, adrift in the galactic void for centuries.
When the emergency systems finally jolted you awake, the ship was crippled, the cryo-chambers shattered, and the life support systems teetering on the brink of failure. You are alone. Or so you think.
The *Hopeful Dawn* didn't drift in empty space. It drifted into the clutches of the Scarab, a vast, ancient, biomechanical entity that scavenges derelict ships, consuming their resources and integrating them into its ever-expanding, pulsing, living labyrinth.
Now, you are trapped within the Scarab's digestive system, a nightmarish ecosystem of repurposed technology and alien organisms. The ship's remaining AI, fragmented and barely functional, whispers fragmented warnings and cryptic clues in your ear. Your objective is simple: survive.
But survival in the Scarab means more than just finding food and shelter. It means understanding the Scarab's bizarre biology, deciphering the remnants of the ship's databanks, and facing the other inhabitants of this metallic nightmare – the Scavengers, grotesque creatures twisted and augmented by the Scarab's influence, and the enigmatic Keepers, biomechanical guardians who seem to both protect and imprison the Scarab's inhabitants.
Your journey begins now. Armed with nothing but your wits, a rusty plasma torch, and the desperate hope of escaping this living hell, you must navigate the Scarab's labyrinthine corridors, scavenge for resources, and uncover the secrets of its existence. Will you find a way to escape and warn others of the Scarab's existence? Or will you become just another piece of scrap, assimilated into the belly of the beast? Your choices will determine your fate. Good luck. You'll need it.
